Le travail de Sophie Dejode et Bertrand Lacombe est clairement défini : la création de "Floating-Land", un micro état nomade et souverain, est destiné à faciliter et promouvoir la création actuelle.
Floating-Land est un territoire social, politique et économique, son peuple n'est concerné que par les questions de création et d'autogérance.

Pour les "Floating-Landais", Sophie Dejode et Bertrand Lacombe créent des espaces utilitaires et quotidiens, des lieux de convivialité, des outils fonctionnels et absurdes.

Toutes leurs œuvres s'inscrivent dans ce projet. Dessins, sculptures, installations, films ou performances, grandeur nature ou maquettes, le travail de Dejode et Lacombe est hors des limites traditionnelles de médium, d'échelle ou de matériau.

Floating-Land occupe temporairement l'espace de la Galerie Metropolis.
Après l'exposition, le micro état reprendra son errance ondoyante au fil des désirs de ses habitants.
Floating-Land incarne une interface subversive entre réalité et utopie.
